RFS Filmmakers' Camp
The week-long intensive RFS Filmmakers’ Camps have developed gradually from the several masterclasses taught by award-winning film directors invited by the Film Forum and from undergraduate study trips to Sundance and the Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival. Students may participate by applying for UCHV Research Film Studio Travel Grants.
Research Film Studio Travel Grants
The University Center for Human Values offers individual travel grants to Princeton University undergraduate students who are working (or have worked on) the Research Film Studio’s various projects. The aim of the grants is to allow students to visit the exhibitions to which they have contributed and help create and assemble new exhibitions in the 2025 Venice and Mallorca Biennales.
Only Research Film Studio members or alumni are eligible to apply.

1st RFS Filmmakers’ Camp (March 13-20, 2023)

Study Trip to the 2020 Sundance Film Festival
One-week course for combined with Sundance screenings and discussions for six undergraduates with individual travel grants from various Princeton units
Study Trip to the 2019 Sundance Film Festival
10-day course combined with festival screenings and discussions for 15 students with UCHV travel grants.
Research Trip to the 2018 Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival and the National Film Archive
