RFS Filmmakers' Camp
The week-long intensive RFS Filmmakers’ Camps have developed gradually from the several masterclasses taught by award-winning film directors invited by the Film Forum and from undergraduate study trips to Sundance and the Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival. Students may participate by applying for UCHV Research Film Studio Travel Grants.

Research Film Studio Travel Grants
Apply now for the RFS Filmmakers’ Camp Travel Grant on San Servolo, Venice — preparing the immersive film project Atlantis (2026 Venice Film Festival).
The camp features workshops on immersive filmmaking (including immersive sound design) will be taught by distinguished local filmmakers and the Head of Studies for the Venice Biennale College Cinema Michel Reilhac, plus visits to the Venice Architecture and Dance Biennales.
Participants will be selected through short interviews.
Students of the Research Film Studio, especially Environmental Film Studies, are encouraged to apply.
